Disaster Recovery & Economic Adjustment Initiative

Based on your information above, you are eligible to apply for funding through DREAI.

The Disaster Recovery and Economic Adjustment Initiative delivers relief funding and resources to businesses in eligible regions, through our Taking Care of Business Platform. All you need to do is create an account, and fill out a couple of quick, easy eligibility applications. From there, we can help you access free business workshops, peer mentoring, professional business coaching and consulting, and even get reimbursed for business-specific training for you and your employees. These strategies and sessions are all tailored to rural business needs, to help you stay profitable and sustainable. Get expert business advice, and connect with other small business owners facing the same challenges as you. We’re here for you every step of the way.

Please allow a maximum of 5 days for the DREAI Eligibility Application to be reviewed and approved. In the meantime, you are welcome to explore the free resources and supports available.

Why do I need to provide this information?

The Disaster Recovery and Economic Adjustment Initiative is funded through PacifiCan, an agency of the Government of Canada.

Our contract with PacifiCan requires us to:

Confirm that participants in the program are operating businesses or enterprising not-for-profits in eligible regions of BC.
Collect and report on the impact of the program on participating businesses.

Accordingly, we ask for information that allows us to confirm eligibility and provide reporting by business type, age, size and ownership.

How will my information be used?

Your information will be used to confirm program eligibility and provide program statistics to the DREAI management team and Pacifican. It will also assist your Program Ambassador in helping you to access appropriate services and support. Your individual information will not be shared to any third-parties without your explicit permission.
