Bill Quinn is a successful Executive Coach and Senior Manager from the natural resource sector. As president of NuStride Executive Coaching, Bill’s coaching focuses on individuals, businesses and organizations in transition. His ability to release the leadership skills everyone possesses has resulted in people developing their staff, finding their voice, having the confidence to venture forward and having more control over their life, their jobs and their environment.
Bill meets the client where he/she is at meaning he is adaptable to the needs of the client. His forty years of organizational background and over thirteen years of being a member of non-profit boards (five years as Vice-President of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce) gives him unique insight into how boards function.
Bill is committed to developing learning organizations and ensuring everyone’s voice is being heard. With his coach approach to team building, facilitation and strategic planning, he and his teams have received numerous BC Government Premier’s Awards. His experiences include developing and delivering customized coaching workshops, helping teams discover and remove their barriers and being a member of the BC government’s highly successful Conversations on Health facilitation team. These initiatives have all received high marks from participants.
A facilitator in Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), Bill uses this psychometric assessment tool to assist those he coaches and the teams he works with to understand themselves and those around them. It has a proven record for helping people successfully deal with relationships and managing conflict.
With over thirty years as a professional in the natural resource sector, Bill holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (CEC) from Royal Roads University and has held his Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation since 2012. In addition, he holds his Registered Professional Forester (Ret) designation for the Province of British Columbia having completed his B. Sc. Forestry at the University of Toronto.
Leisure hours for Bill are divided between spending quality time with his family, scattered as they are across the country, enjoying for physical activities such as pickleball & biking and music with performances at dances and music festivals
